About Gatto
Gatto is a range of bulk-cooking equipment sold through South African catering dealers. Excell carries 80-litre tilt pans, gas or electric, with a 304 stainless steel pan or a cast iron one, and oil-jacketed boiling pots of 135 and 225 litres.
A compact 38-litre skillet with a hand tilt comes in gas or electric, and the range also includes an electric candy floss machine for fêtes and fundraisers.

Stainless or cast iron
Tilt pans come with a 304 stainless steel pan for stews, soups and rice, or a close-grain cast iron pan for meat.
Oil-jacketed heat
Boiling pots heat through a jacket of thermal oil, 40 or 50 litres depending on size, sold separately.
Flame failure protection
The gas boiling pots and the gas skillet are fitted with flame failure devices.
Gas or electric
Every pan and pot comes in gas or electric; electric models need a 380 V three-phase supply.
