About Avenia
Avenia is a range of light catering equipment sold through South African catering dealers. It covers the everyday jobs in canteens, hotels, take-aways and delis: hot water and coffee, slicing and sealing, and kitchen hygiene.
Excell's range covers electric urns from 16 to 30 litres, filter coffee machines with a jug, flask or airpot, an 11-litre soup kettle, a semi-commercial microwave and popcorn machines. For prep there are 220, 250 and 300 mm slicers, heat sealers from 200 to 500 mm and chamber vacuum packers, plus insect killers and a knife sterilising cabinet.

Boil-dry protection
The urns have a 2.5 kW embedded element, boil-dry protection, a sight-glass water gauge and cool-touch handles.
Sharpener built in
The slicers run on precision carriage slides, with a safety guard, adjustable thickness and a built-in blade sharpener.
Chamber vacuum packing
Stainless body and chamber, an oil-lubricated vacuum pump and PLC control of vacuum and sealing time.
Knife hygiene
The sterilising cabinet holds up to 30 knives, runs a 2-hour timer and switches its lamp off when the door opens.
