About Electro Chef
Electro Chef is a range of buffet heating equipment sold through South African catering dealers. It is built around induction: glass-lidded chafing dishes, induction warmers to stand them on, and an electric hot tray.
Excell's range covers rectangular (9 litre), round (6 litre) and square (5.5 litre) induction chafing dishes with glass lids and their stands, a single 3.5 kW induction warmer, a 615 × 363 mm hot tray, and a 23.5 cm induction heating plate that lets ordinary pans work on an induction top.

Made for the buffet
The 3.5 kW induction unit is a buffet warmer, not a cooker: fill the water pan pre-heated and keep it below 90 °C.
Glass-top hot tray
Toughened glass on a stainless body, heated by radiant film and set by knob from 60 °C to 105 °C.
Any pan on induction
The 23.5 cm heating plate lets non-induction cookware work on an induction top, and is dishwasher safe.
