About Forge
Forge is a heavy-duty cooking range sold through South African catering dealers, designed for the demands of busy chain, franchise and restaurant kitchens. Its 10-pan digital combi steam oven is built in South Africa.
Excell's range covers gas radiant, solid-top and half-ribbed grillers from 600 to 1,200 mm, electric solid-top and half-ribbed grillers, heavy-duty gas and electric stoves, a four-plate induction cooker, a heavy-duty toaster/griller, a chip dump, the 10-pan combi steam oven and the Speed Chef high-speed ovens.

Cast iron, 14,000 BTU
Gas grillers run 14,000 BTU burners under heavy cast-iron grates and radiants, on a welded stainless stand with rear castors.
Thick plates
Electric solid-top grillers have 12 mm cooking plates and Robertshaw thermostats. The stove tops use 16 mm plates.
Speed Chef
The 17-litre Speed Chef combines microwave, impingement and convection heat, plugs into single-phase power and needs no extraction canopy.
Built in South Africa
The 10-pan digital combi steam oven is built locally, with a core probe, Delta-T cooking and automatic cleaning.
