About Teraoka
Teraoka Seiko of Tokyo traces its scales to 1925, when founder Toyoharu Teraoka developed the Teraoka automatic spring scale. In 1965 it announced the world's first electronic price-computing scale, and in 1973 it launched the DIGI scale. DIGI is now the name on its scales, label printers and store systems.
Excell's Teraoka range is everyday weighing kit: splash-proof portion scales from 3/6 kg to 15/30 kg, a waterproof stainless version, platform scales of 60, 150 and 300 kg for goods receiving, with a rechargeable battery option, and price-computing retail scales with operator and customer displays, one with a pole display.
