About Peugeot
Peugeot made its first table pepper mill in 1874, and its mills are still made and assembled at its factory in Quingey, in France's Franche-Comté. The family business behind it dates back to 1810, and Peugeot holds the French state's Living Heritage Company label.
Excell stocks Peugeot's restaurant favourites: the Paris mill in its classic and u'Select versions, Bistro, Elis in stainless steel, and acrylic models, in wood, black, white and colours.
Worth knowing
u'Select
Peugeot's patented grind setting: six grinds for pepper and three for salt, set at the top of the mill.
Lifetime mechanism
Peugeot gives its steel grinding mechanisms a lifetime warranty, and the mills five years.
Right mill, right salt
Keep sea salt out of steel salt mechanisms, and don't wash the mill in water or a dishwasher, or the warranty lapses.
Made in France
Made in Quingey, with wooden mills from PEFC-certified European forests.
