The SmartChef YXDT-16 is a 16-litre countertop pressure fryer aimed at smaller operators who want fast, juicy fried chicken without the footprint of a full-size unit. Manual temperature control covers 60-200C, paired with a built-in timer for repeatable cycles. Four layers of safety protection - vent valve, pressure valve, silicone sealing ring and elastic beam - keep operators safe while the unit runs at 8 psi. The included 738 mm diameter, 195 mm deep basket has 8.5 L of effective capacity, enough for a couple of birds (about 18 pieces) per batch. Runs on 3 kW 230V single-phase, 440 x 570 x 520 mm, 21 kg.
